Terms of Use

Closyne is published by DevCom81, a sole proprietorship of Jérôme Trebouclet, SIRET 39805373600045 (see our Legal notice). By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.

Closyne is first and foremost a digital wardrobe. The service notably includes:

• Wardrobe: recording your clothes, their characteristics and a photo used to illustrate them.
• Outfits: manual creation of outfits and suggestions generated from the clothes you own.
• Profile: username, profile picture, bio and city that you provide.
• Social Place: posting photos and captions, follows, likes, comments, reporting and hiding.
• Messaging: private exchanges between users.
• Market: a space connecting users who wish to sell or acquire clothing.

Access requires creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for actions taken from your account. The information you provide must be accurate.

Access to the site is preceded by an age verification screen, and when creating an account the user declares being at least 16 years old. In case of serious doubt, Closyne may suspend the account, request proportionate supporting evidence and delete the account failing a satisfactory response.

The photo associated with a garment is used only to illustrate it. You take the photo or select it from your device, then you enter the associated information yourself (name, category, color, season, etc.). Closyne does not perform automatic visual recognition of clothing.

You retain ownership of the content you publish. You grant Closyne a limited, non-exclusive and free license, strictly necessary for hosting and displaying this content within the service, for the duration of its publication.

Some outfit suggestions rely on an artificial intelligence service. Only metadata is sent to it (technical identifiers, descriptions, colors, styles, season, weather information you provide): photos of your clothes are not sent to the AI service. Suggestions are an aid and remain under your control: you can accept, edit or ignore them.

City is a profile field that you fill in manually; Closyne does not access your GPS location. Likewise, the weather information used to adapt suggestions is entered by you and is not determined automatically from a location.

Social Place lets you post photos and captions, follow other users, like and comment. You can delete your own posts, hide content and report anything that seems problematic to you.

The following are notably prohibited:

• harassment, threats and intimidation;
• hateful, discriminatory or degrading content;
• clearly unlawful content;
• identity theft;
• spam and abusive solicitation;
• infringement of the rights of others (image, privacy, intellectual property);
• any content of a sexual nature involving minors, with zero tolerance.

The Market is a space that connects users. Closyne is not a transactional marketplace and is not a party to the contract concluded between users. Closyne does not sell or buy items, does not store them, does not arrange delivery, does not process payment between users, and does not take any commission on these exchanges.

Each user is responsible for:

• their listings and their accuracy;
• the description and actual condition of the items;
• the price agreed between the parties;
• exchanges and communication with the other user;
• any payment, arranged directly between them;
• handing over or shipping the item;
• complying with applicable regulations (notably tax rules and rules on prohibited or counterfeit products).

Items whose sale or transfer is prohibited by law, counterfeit goods, and any item unrelated to the purpose of the service (clothing, shoes and fashion accessories) may not be offered. In case of doubt about the legality of a transfer, it is up to the user to find out. A detailed policy on prohibited items may be published later.

Closyne may moderate, hide or remove content that violates these terms or the law, and suspend or delete an account in the event of a violation, in a manner proportionate to the severity of the facts. Serious cases, particularly those relating to the protection of minors, may be reported to the competent authorities.

Closyne offers a free plan (Free) and paid subscriptions (Standard and Premium). Their commercial terms, pricing, renewal, cancellation and right of withdrawal are set out in our Terms of sale.

Closyne implements reasonable means to ensure the availability and security of the service, without guaranteeing a total absence of interruption or error. Closyne is not responsible for content published by users or for the relationships they form with each other, notably via the Market or messaging.

The service evolves: features may be added, modified or removed. These terms may be updated; the date of the last update appears at the top of this page and substantial changes will be brought to your attention.
