• Account: email address, identifier and information needed for authentication (your password is never stored in plain text).
• Profile: username, profile picture, bio and city that you enter manually.
• Wardrobe: recorded clothes, descriptions and characteristics (category, color, season, etc.) and photos used to illustrate them.
• Outfits: saved combinations, favorites and usage history.
• Social Place: posts, photos, captions, likes, comments, follows, reports and hidden items.
• Messaging: conversation content and data needed to deliver it.
• Market: listings, photos, descriptions, asking prices and related exchanges.
• Subscriptions: subscription status, plan and technical information needed for billing.
• Technical data: device type, app version, error and security logs.

• We do not perform automatic visual recognition of your clothes: the photo is used only to illustrate an item that you describe yourself.
• We do not send your wardrobe photos to the artificial intelligence service.
• We do not access your GPS location: city is a profile field entered manually.
• We do not automatically determine weather: this information is entered by you.
• We do not store your bank card details: they are processed by our payment provider.
• We do not sell your data and do not use any advertising trackers.

• Providing the service (account, wardrobe, outfits, Social Place, messaging, Market) — performance of the contract.
• Generating outfit suggestions from your clothes — performance of the contract.
• Managing subscriptions and billing — performance of the contract and legal obligations.
• Ensuring security, preventing fraud and moderating content — legitimate interest.
• Responding to your contact requests — legitimate interest.

Outfit suggestions rely on an artificial intelligence service. Only metadata is sent to it: technical identifiers of clothes, descriptions, colors, styles, season, weather information you provide, and other attributes needed for the suggestion. Photographs of your clothes are not sent to the AI service. Suggestions are an aid: you accept, edit or ignore them.

City appears in your profile because you enter it: it helps put your profile in context and adapt certain suggestions. The weather information used for suggestions is also entered by you. Closyne does not use your device's geolocation for these features.

Your wardrobe is private by default: publishing a photo on Social Place does not open access to your wardrobe. Posts, your profile and Market listings are visible to other users according to the visibility settings actually available in the app. You can delete your posts, hide content and report content from others.

We use technical service providers acting on our instructions, by category:

• hosting of the website and the application;
• database and authentication;
• storage of images (wardrobe, Social Place, Market, profiles), provided by an object storage infrastructure (Cloudflare R2);
• payment provider for subscriptions (Stripe);
• sending of transactional emails;
• artificial intelligence service for outfit suggestions.

When a provider processes data outside the European Union, the transfer is governed by appropriate safeguards, notably the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

• Account, profile, wardrobe and posts: for as long as the account is active.
• After account deletion: erased within 30 days, including backups.
• Messages: kept until the account or conversation is deleted.
• Reports and security logs: for as long as necessary for processing and legal obligations.
• Documents related to subscriptions: the legal accounting retention period.

Exchanges are encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access to data is restricted by authorization rules applied server-side. Images are kept on private storage, accessible via temporary links.

The closyne.com website only uses cookies and storage that are strictly necessary: session, security, remembering your language and dismissal of listings. No advertising cookie, third-party audience measurement tool, or profiling tracker is used. If such tools were to be added, they would be subject to your prior consent.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent when it is the basis for processing. How to exercise these rights is detailed on our GDPR page.
