Discover Closyne

What Closyne is, who it's for, and where to use it.

Closyne is an app that brings your wardrobe together in one place. You save your clothes, put outfits together, share your looks if you want to, and resell the pieces you no longer wear.

To better know and better use what you already own. You can see your wardrobe at a glance, find a piece in seconds, keep track of your outfits and give sleeping clothes a second life.

Yes. All current features — wardrobe, outfits, Social Place, Market, messaging — are free. Optional subscriptions are planned later for advanced features, without removing what already exists today.

Yes, Closyne is designed mobile-first and works directly from your phone's browser. You can add it to your home screen to open it like an app.

Yes. Closyne opens from any browser, on computer or phone, with the same account and the same wardrobe.

Yes, through your Android device's browser. An installable app from the store is coming soon.

Closyne already works on iPhone via Safari and can be added to your home screen. A version distributed on the App Store is coming soon.

No. No installation is needed: you open Closyne in your browser and sign in.

For anyone who wants clarity in their wardrobe: fashion lovers, people who want to consume less and better, or simply save time in the morning. Access is reserved for people aged 15 and over.

A digital wardrobe app stops at inventory. Closyne adds outfit creation, a deliberately calm social dimension, and a resale space between members, all within a single account.

Yes, completely. You can keep a private profile, publish nothing, and only use your wardrobe and outfits. Nothing is shared without an action from you.

My account

Sign-up, sign-in, personal information, deletion.

Open Closyne, choose “Create an account”, enter your email address and a password. You'll immediately access your empty wardrobe, ready to be filled.

From the app's home screen, enter your email address and password. Your session stays open on the device until you sign out.

Use the “Forgot password” link on the sign-in screen. You'll receive an email with a link to set a new one; remember to check your spam folder.

From your profile, in the account settings section. A confirmation is required on the new address to avoid any typing mistakes.

In your profile, open the information settings and change your username. It's updated everywhere, including on your posts and listings.

Yes. One account, one wardrobe: your clothes, outfits and messages follow you from one device to another.

From your profile, choose “Sign out”. This is recommended if you're using a shared device.

Deletion can be requested from your profile's privacy settings. If you can't access it, write to us and we'll handle the request.

Yes. You can request an export of your data — wardrobe, outfits, posts — from the privacy settings or by email. We reply within a month.

Your profile, wardrobe, photos, outfits, listings and conversations are deleted. This is permanent: remember to export your data beforehand.

Dashboard

Your home screen and its shortcuts.

It's your starting point. It welcomes you, summarizes your wardrobe, and gives one-tap access to your Wardrobe, Looks, Social Place and Market.

They reflect the state of your account: number of saved pieces, outfits created and recent activity. These numbers update as soon as you add or change something.

It suggests an outfit built from the clothes in your own wardrobe. You can keep it, tweak it, or ask for another one.

Usually because your wardrobe is still lightly filled: some statistics and suggestions only appear once you've saved a few pieces.

Not yet. Customizing the Dashboard's shortcuts and blocks is part of our planned improvements.

My wardrobe

Add, organize and protect your clothes.

In your Wardrobe, tap the add button, take or choose a photo, then fill in the piece's details: category, color, season. It joins your wardrobe right away.

Yes, and it's strongly recommended: the photo is what makes your wardrobe readable at a glance. You can photograph the piece or import an image from your device.

All of them: tops, bottoms, dresses, jackets and coats, shoes, sportswear or eveningwear. You decide how to classify each piece.

Yes. Bags, belts, jewelry, scarves or hats are saved like any other piece and can be used in your outfits.

Yes, at any time. Open the piece's page to change its photo, category or details.

Yes, from the piece's page. Deleting it removes the item from your wardrobe and its photo from your space.

Yes. Marking a piece as worn lets you see what you actually use and what's sleeping at the back of the closet.

Yes. The Wardrobe offers search and filters by category, color or season to find a piece in seconds.

There is no set limit for normal use. If quotas were ever introduced with future subscriptions, they would be clearly announced in advance.

No. Your wardrobe is private by default: no one can access it unless you've explicitly granted access.

Only if you decide to. Being friends isn't enough: wardrobe access is requested and granted separately, person by person.

Yes. You can grant access to one particular member, such as a close friend, and keep it closed to everyone else.

From your profile's privacy settings, remove the permission granted to that person. Access ends immediately.

Not today: each account has a single wardrobe, organizable by category and season. Managing several wardrobes is being considered for later.

The piece disappears from your wardrobe and no longer appears in the outfit. The outfit stays saved, simply incomplete: you can edit or delete it.

Inspiration

Outfit suggestions and creating looks.

Closyne combines pieces from your wardrobe based on their category, color and season. You get a ready-to-wear suggestion, which you're always free to adjust.

No, not today. Current suggestions rely on simple composition rules applied to your wardrobe. A real style AI is coming soon.

Yes, exclusively. Closyne only suggests clothes that you own and have saved.

Yes. An outfit you like is saved in your Looks and can be found again at any time.

Yes, from the outfit itself, in your Looks. The clothes it's made of naturally stay in your wardrobe.

Yes. You can put together an outfit manually by choosing each piece yourself, without going through the suggestions.

Enrich your wardrobe and fill in each piece carefully — category, color, season. The more accurate the information, the more relevant the combinations.

Usually because a category is missing: without a saved top or bottom, no combination is possible. Add a few pieces and try Inspiration again.

They rely on the season set on your pieces. Taking the day's actual weather into account, based on your location and with your consent, is coming soon.

Partially, through the way you describe your clothes. An explicit occasion choice — work, evening, weekend — is part of our planned improvements.

No, it's coming. Current suggestions work without AI and remain entirely based on your wardrobe.

Today's suggestions combine your pieces using fixed rules. The AI will learn from your preferences, the outfits you keep, and the context to suggest more personal combinations.

Social Place

Posts, friends, wardrobe access, moderation.

It's Closyne's sharing space: you post your looks there and discover other members'. It's deliberately calm, with no race for visibility.

From Social Place, choose to post, select an outfit or a photo, add a caption if you wish, then confirm.

It depends on your profile: public, they're visible to Closyne members; private, they're only visible to your friends.

A public profile can be found and followed freely by other members. A private profile keeps your posts for your accepted friends only. In both cases, your wardrobe stays closed by default.

Only people whose friend request you've accepted. Other members see your username at most.

Yes. Friendship is created through a request sent to a member, who accepts or declines it.

Search for the person from Social Place, open their profile and send your request. They'll be notified.

Requests you receive appear in Social Place: you can accept or decline them in one tap. A decline is not reported to the other person.

Yes, at any time from their profile. The link is broken on both sides and any associated access ends.

Only if they've granted you access. You can request it from their profile; they remain free to grant it or not.

Because a wardrobe is intimate information: it reveals what you own. Closyne protects it through explicit consent, separate from friendship.

Yes, whenever you want, from the privacy settings. The person immediately loses the view of your wardrobe.

Yes. Hiding a member removes their posts from your feed without breaking the link or notifying them.

Yes, from their profile or from one of their posts. Blocking is immediate.

That person can no longer see your profile, posts and listings, or message or request you. The friendship link and wardrobe access are broken.

Yes. Every post offers a report option; briefly describe the issue, our team reviews it.

Yes, from their profile. The report is confidential: the person is not informed.

Closyne lets you appreciate a post, but without a prominent counter or ranking. The idea is to encourage inspiration rather than performance.

Exchanges mostly happen through private messaging. Moderated public comments are among the improvements being considered.

Because counters and rankings quickly turn style into a competition. Closyne prefers a calm space, where people share without comparing themselves.

Reported content is reviewed by our team, who can remove it and sanction the account behind it. Serious cases are handled as a priority.

Market

Selling, buying and negotiating between members.

Market is Closyne's second-hand space: you offer pieces from your wardrobe for sale there and discover other members' listings.

From Market, create a listing, choose the piece concerned, add a photo, a description, its condition and the asking price, then publish.

Closyne members browsing Market. A listing is never visible outside the app.

Yes, at any time from the listing. It disappears from Market instantly.

On a listing you're interested in, send an offer with the amount you're proposing. The seller receives your offer.

Offers you receive appear on your listing: simply accept it. A conversation then opens with the buyer to work out the details.

Yes, without justification. The listing stays online and open to other offers.

Yes. Both seller and buyer can propose another amount until they reach an agreement.

You exchange messages privately to arrange payment and handover or shipping of the item. Closyne connects you; the details stay between you.

Not today: payment happens between members, outside the app. Built-in payment is planned for the near future.

No. No commission is taken on current sales.

No. A blocked person no longer sees your listings and cannot make you an offer or message you.

Yes, directly from the listing, just like a post. Our team reviews it.

Only personal clothing, shoes and accessories, honestly described. Counterfeits, illegal goods and anything unrelated to fashion are forbidden.

No. You freely agree on an in-person handover or a shipment. Favor a tracked delivery method.

Yes, it's a planned improvement: paying for a purchase directly and securely within Closyne. No date has been announced yet.

Privacy

Profile, visibility, photos and personal data.

From your profile, open the privacy settings and turn on public visibility. The change is immediate.

In the same place, turn off public visibility. Your posts will then only be accessible to your friends.

Your username, your profile photo if you have one, your short bio and your posts according to your visibility settings. Nothing else is exposed.

No. Your wardrobe stays private even with a public profile: it's only visible to people you've granted access to.

Never. Your email address is only used for signing in and essential messages; it's never shown to any member.

Only if you choose to enter it. You can remove it at any time from your profile.

Closyne members if your profile is public, only your friends if it's private. You can change your mind at any time.

Yes, without limit. The new setting applies immediately to all your posts.

No. Your data is neither sold nor shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Closyne does not run targeted advertising.

Only within the app: your wardrobe, outfits, posts and listings. They're never used for anything else without your consent.

Yes. Deleting a piece, an outfit, a post or a listing deletes the associated images.

Yes. An export of your wardrobe, looks and posts can be requested from the privacy settings or by email.

Directly from the app for export and deletion, or by email for any other request. Details are on our Privacy and GDPR pages.

Security & moderation

Reporting, blocking, forbidden content, emergencies.

Open the post, listing or profile in question and choose “Report”. Briefly explain the reason: it speeds up the review.

Nudity, sexual content, hate, harassment, violence, counterfeits, scams and any content inappropriately involving a minor. These rules are detailed on our Minor Protection page.

From their profile, choose “Block”. The effect is immediate and you can undo it later.

Yes. Neither person can see the blocked person's content or contact them.

They're not informed. They'll simply notice they can no longer find your profile or content.

Yes, from the blocked accounts list in your settings. Friendship and wardrobe access are not restored automatically.

It enters a moderation queue and is reviewed by our team. Depending on severity, it may be hidden while it's being reviewed.

Closyne's moderation team, made up of real people, not blind automated processing. Sensitive cases are handled as a priority.

No. A report triggers a human review; clearly serious content may however be removed immediately as a precaution.

Block the person, report their messages or posts, then write to us describing the situation. We act quickly and can suspend the account involved.

Report the profile stating it's an impersonation. If you're the person being impersonated, write to us for priority handling.

Report it immediately in the app and write to us at the same time. Content involving minors is treated as an absolute emergency and reported to the relevant authorities.

Yes. Depending on severity, an account can be warned, temporarily suspended, or permanently closed.

Write to us directly by email, putting “urgent” in the subject line and attaching screenshots if possible.

Subscriptions

What's free today, what's planned for tomorrow.

Yes. Everything that exists in Closyne today is accessible for free, no credit card needed.

The wardrobe, creating and saving outfits, Inspiration suggestions, Social Place, Market and messaging between members.

A free plan will remain available, alongside one or more paid plans focused on advanced features like the style AI. Details will be announced before launch.

To access personalized outfit recommendations and, later, virtual try-on. These features require costly processing, hence a dedicated plan.

Yes. Messaging between members will remain accessible without a subscription: it's essential to how Market works.

Yes. Future subscriptions will have no commitment and can be cancelled in a few taps from your profile.

No date has been announced yet. They'll arrive alongside the advanced features they support.

Not yet. They'll be clearly communicated before any launch, with no retroactive changes.

Yes. Payments will go through a recognized payment provider; Closyne will never store any card data.

You keep your wardrobe, outfits and posts. Only the advanced features of the paid plan stop being accessible.

Coming soon

Style AI, virtual try-on and what's next.

Not yet. Current suggestions work without AI; the smart version is in preparation.

It will learn from your choices, the outfits you keep and the context — season, weather, occasion — to suggest truly personal combinations and help you make better use of what you own.

Try-On is virtual fitting: seeing an outfit from your wardrobe worn on a photo of yourself, before putting it on. This feature is planned and not yet available.

No date is set. It will arrive after the style AI, on which it technically depends.

Yes, but only with your explicit consent and for you alone. You'll be able to delete these photos at any time, and they won't be shared.

That's exactly the goal of Try-On. In the meantime, outfit previews remain based on your clothes' photos.

Yes: installable apps on Android and iOS, built-in payment in Market, weather-based suggestions, and Dashboard customization.

New features are announced within the app and on closyne.com. You can also write to us to be kept in the loop.

Common issues

The most common blockers and how to fix them.

Check your spam folder and the spelling of your address. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, resend it from the sign-in screen or write to us.

Make sure you're using the email address used at sign-up and check the password's capitalization. If the issue persists, reset your password.

Use “Forgot password” to set a new one. If you don't receive the email, contact us.

This is often an unstable connection: refresh the page. If the image is still missing after several tries, delete the piece and add it again, then let us know.

Check your connection and the photo's size; very large images can fail. Try again with a photo taken directly from the app.

Their profile may be private, the friend request not accepted yet, or they may have hidden you. Double-check the exact spelling of their username.

Messaging opens between friends or as part of a Market listing. A block on either side also prevents sending.

Wardrobe access is separate from friendship: they must explicitly grant it to you. Send them an access request from their profile.

The seller probably removed it, the piece was sold, or the listing was removed following a report.

It was likely declined, withdrawn by its author, or the listing is no longer online. You can make a new offer if the listing still exists.

It may have been deleted by its author, reserved for their friends, or removed by moderation. A hidden or blocked member no longer appears in your feed.

Check your internet connection, then refresh the page. If the issue persists on several devices, it's likely a temporary maintenance.

Refresh the page and sign in again. If it happens again, tell us what you were doing at the time and attach a screenshot.

By email, at the address shown at the bottom of this page. We reply as soon as possible, prioritizing security issues.
