Minor Safety

The safety of minors is an absolute priority for Closyne. We do not tolerate any content, behavior or interaction aimed at sexualizing, exploiting or endangering children or teenagers. These rules apply across all areas of the service: wardrobe, posts, Social Place, Market and messaging.

Closyne is not intended for people under 16, and registration by them is prohibited. When an account is identified as belonging to a person who does not meet the required age, it is deleted. We encourage parents and legal guardians to report any suspicious account to us at contact@closyne.com.

Technical age verification. Access to closyne.com is preceded by a verification screen asking for your date of birth: if the calculated age is under 16, access is denied. This date of birth is neither transmitted nor stored on our servers; only the confirmation of the result is kept locally on your device. When creating an account in the app, the user declares being at least 16 years old; this declaration is made under their own responsibility. Where there is serious doubt about an account holder's age, we may suspend the account, request proportionate supporting evidence and, failing a satisfactory response, permanently delete the account and the associated data.

• Any content depicting sexual abuse of minors or of a sexual nature involving children.
• Any grooming attempt, approach or sexual contact with a minor.
• The exchange, request, offer or promotion of sexual content involving minors.
• Comments, messages or posts of a sexual nature directed at minors.
• Any attempt to obtain personal information or images of minors for inappropriate purposes.
• Harassment, threats and intimidation.

We combine community reports with human moderation to identify content and behavior that violates our standards. Affected accounts may be suspended or deleted without notice, and reported items retained for as long as necessary for review and legal obligations.

You can report a post, comment, listing or message directly in the app, or write to us at contact@closyne.com. Every report is examined with the utmost seriousness. You can also hide content or unfollow an account.

On Social Place, in messaging and on the Market, never publicly share:

• your home address;
• your phone number or other sensitive contact details;
• your banking information or login credentials;
• identity documents or information about a third party.

The Market is a space that connects users: Closyne is not a party to the transaction, does not process payment, and does not arrange delivery. Exercise extra caution: favor traceable payment methods, and be wary of unusually good offers and requests for payment outside normal practices.

When handing items over in person, some basic precautions are essential: choose a public, busy place, let someone know, bring someone along when possible and, for a minor, be accompanied by a responsible adult. Closyne does not supervise meetings between users.

In the event of content or behavior related to the exploitation or sexual abuse of minors, we cooperate with the competent authorities and organizations authorized to handle this type of report. Necessary information may be shared with the relevant police or judicial services. Data related to a serious report is kept for as long as strictly necessary for the investigation and compliance with legal obligations, and is only accessible to authorized personnel.
